Parent Newsletter from the Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Just a couple of quick announcements:

WESPO’s Jay Peak Waterpark, whole school trip will be on Friday, June 9thWe will send home more information soon about how you can attend with your child if you like, but wanted you to have the date so you could mark your calendars. Buses will leave at 9:15 am and will stay at the Waterpark till 2:00, after which all children will be transported directly home.  WESPO will be paying admission for all our students, teachers, and staff.  Thank you WESPO!!

Last day of the After School Program will be Friday, May 26th.  Start making plans now for where your child will be going after school.  Soon we will send home information about our Fabulous Summer Program, free from 8:00 – 12:00 with reading and math academics, recess and lunch included, and then enrichment activities available in the afternoon for a small fee (including swimming in the river, bike safety class, and a weekly field trip to Lake Eden plus lots more!)

Please take note of the WEPO Quilting Project flyer, attached.  WESPO needs more fundraising ideas and is resurrecting the Community Quilt Raffle. If you are interested in making a square or two, they could really use your help.

Today was National Super Lunch Hero Day.  Check out the pictures on the back showing how our school paid homage to Stephanie Castonguay, our Super Hero Lunch Lady!

Have a great weekend,
